【おまけ】

私が大学一年生の時に受けた日本語の授業のメモを発見。この時の私の漢字の知識はせいぜい小学校1、2年生レベル。一番嫌いな漢字は横線がたくさん並ぶ「業」でした(笑) そしてさっき気づいたのが、まさかの「友」と言う漢字を間違えてました(笑)

I was looking through my things and found my notes from Japanese class during freshman year of university. At that time, I only knew kanji that were taught in first ~ second grade (elementary school of course). Also, I used to despise the kanji 「業」because it has so many horizontal lines lol. And I just realized that my kanji for friend 「友」was wrong too lolol

この時から8年？やっと字も大人っぽくなり、漢字の知識も身につきました。でも未だにたくさん漢字を間違えるし、調べてる。でも、確実に成長はしてる。だからこそ！頑張るぞー！

My penmanship and knowledge of Kanji has greatly improved since about eight years? ago, but to this day I still search for kanji and often make mistakes. But I know I’m getting better! Ganbaruzo—!
